This book is about a journey that started in the late sixties when I almost simultaneously discovered electronics and photography, and how that led to a most ‘excellent adventure’ which took me places I never dared dream I could go.

How most people saw me in my teen years
Much of this book is about my time at Apple and the events which led to that, but I’ll try to put it all in a larger context of how I ended up there, the sometimes high price I had to pay, and how it affected those around me. I know most of you are here to learn more about the inner workings of Apple and Steve Jobs; I’ll try not to disappoint. But this book is not an exposé, and it’s unlikely to be objective. It is more like a travelogue of my personal experiences and observations. I’m writing it now because I want to preserve it while most of the memories of the trip are still vivid.

‘had pay’ should be ‘had to pay’
great site and project — keep up the good work
Mike,
Dawn did not tell me you were writing a book let alone publishing (blogging) your drafts online. That is the coolest thing ever. Great idea and good work so far. I will be reading daily.
Now, I must IM Mrs. M and admonish her for not mentioning it…
