Mike, you tried Akismet? I use this, and find that it blocks all the spam I ever get. I seem to remember you mentioning this a few weeks ago; not work too well?
Hi Chris – the problem was more than just comment spam, it was users posting inappropriate/nasty comments using fake e-mail addresses, so I could not contact them.
Ahh that sucks. Wish there were more adults about.
Are there not WP spam bots?
Why haven’t you tried TypeKey, as a lot of us readers are registered to it?
