I just completed the upgrade to the latest version of WordPress (the older versions obviously had a few security holes). I think I managed to find and reproduce all the formatting changes I’ve made over the years, but if you see anything that’s not displaying properly, please let me know.

Thanks to a few readers who alerted me to the fact that the site was hacked a while back. Someone installed thousands of links on the home page and uploaded tens of thousands of webpages to my server, apparently in an attempt to leech my bandwidth and take advantage of my high pagerank.
I’m still trying to sort it out, but it looks like I’ll have to do major updates to get things back to a relatively safe/normal state.
I suppose it’s fair to say I know Steve Jobs; at least more than most people know him. I’ve been in meetings with him, I’ve been chewed out by him (more than once), I’ve had lunch with him, and I’ve even been in his house. But it was all ‘in the line of duty’, and didn’t give me the kind of insight into how he thinks that I wish I had today. Continued »
