I was reviewing some video of the crowd coming into the auditorium for the Tokyo Macworld keynote in 2001, when I found a short clip of Steve Jobs hanging out before the show. I had forgotten all about it. The quality is not great, but you still might find it interesting.
Here’s the clip (7 MB in QuickTime MPEG-4 format) mirrored on three different servers; pick one:

Thanks Mike, clever pan transition – nice
Thanks for the new video clip Mike. I was hoping you would post another one soon
any ideas when ya will be posting a new story?
Weird – It’s always difficult to predict when I’ll have more articles. This site is named ‘Writers Block’ for good reason! But I’m working on a couple things at the moment, so it should not be too long. Mike
can you say paparazzi?
Corebreach – The Japanese press just loved writing about Apple’s stuff (and Steve, of course). It was great fun to do briefings for them too, as they were so interested and much less jaded than western press.
What I meant actually was you’re like a paparazzi with shrouded imagery from a distance. J/K of course :p
