Steve Jobs Rehearses – Out of Uniform

Steve Jobs rehearses I hate to contribute to the silly discussions about Steve’s wardrobe, but I thought you might enjoy this shot that I snapped during a keynote rehearsal*. Steve is working on his slides, while the producer and director make notes of any changes required. You’ll notice the missing turtle-neck and blue jeans. It was common to see him dressed like this around Apple.

Steve looks a little distracted, but really he is just concentrating on the monitor in the front row of the auditorium which shows his next slide.

I don’t blame him for wearing shorts in Japan. It’s dang humid there!

Fake ? Steve’s leg is really strange (just after his knee)

  5. Sam says:

Yeah, Synapse, the Mac community has gone from Photoshopping 4 inch screens onto video iPods to Photoshopping lederhosen on Steve Jobs.

  6. Many Bothans died to bring us this secret photo of Steve’s knee.

  7. macsound says:

Hey do you know what kind of remote he uses. and how does he make the next slide show on the front row monitor? He does use keynote right?

  8. macsound – I don’t know the brand of the remote; it was quite unusual though.

He did not use Keynote when I worked there; he used QuickTime player running on two PowerBooks. Each had a copy of the slides, with one set one slide ahead. When he changed the slide, both computers changed. (I believe Keynote can do this sort of thing if you have two monitors connected.)
