Let me say that you write interesting articles, Mike !….Now, as for the clickwheel thingie, there are other pictures of those headphones, where the clickwheel-problem is obviously solved. Hmm… take a look at the nano – for example here: http://images.apple.com/ipodnano/gallery/images/galleryimage06.jpg – and then at the picture of these headphones. Note anything strange? The click wheel in the actual nano is not that far away from the screen. I guess this is a rendered image and not a photograph of an existing object (yet).

Dude the Nano weighs 1.5 oz. Hardly the need to “counterwight” the cans….

Seems like a great idea to me. I guess the click wheel is just so you can change the volume or skip songs when you listen to your “lawn mowing specified” playlist. I’m more worried about the sound quality after being spoiled by those shure earphones.

This is one cool idea for sure. Though for $50 I’m not sure what kind of audio quality you’ll get out of these… We’ll see. Still, very cool idea indeed.

They’re nice headphones, but who would wear something that clunky in public for it to get stolen?
