I snapped this photo of Steve Jobs while he was working on the flow of his keynote demo in 2001. It’s striking to see this and realize how much his appearance has changed. Of course, that state-of-the-art G4 hasn’t held up too well either. Love that OS 9 desktop!
A few month later when OS X rolled out (March 2001), Steve spoke to a gathering of Apple employees in Cafe Mac. A lot less gray hair and a lot more of him. That almost looks like a bit of a gut hanging out.
