Hey, great! I wasn't sure I had that right. This definitely proves that my "old school" knowledge of Mac trivia is still intact. Thanks for the contest and especially thanks for such an enjoyable website.

I remember the days of 8 bit paint programs with fondness. The 2 front runners were Studio/8 and Pixelpaint. Studio/8 evolved into Studio/32 and tried to give Photoshop 1.0 some competition. Both Studio/32 and Pixelpaint seemed to disappear some time around 1991. I wonder what became of them.

I was in the games industry then and used all of these programs at one time or another to create art for several Broderbund titles. Oddly enough, I ended up relying mostly on the built in paint tools of (Macromind) Director 4.0.

I seem to recall those images being used, not with a vector package, but an old paint package. Were they for Studio8 or Pixelpaint?

It is reminding me of my old Performa 6320cd... Is it part of The Writing Center (name?), a bundled word processing application, maybe the cover box or something?
