Weapons of Mass Destruction – Sixties’ Style

Johnny Seven OMAMy house is getting too full of stuff, so as part of my spring cleaning I’ve decided to sell my prized Johnny Seven OMA One Man Army toy gun. If you grew up in the sixties, you probably know this was the ultimate toy for any young ’soldier’ in 1964. The owner of this awesome weapon could easily defeat an entire neighborhood of kids armed with their pathetic cap guns and Lone Ranger six-shooter.

It is in superb condition, and ready to bring back a million great memories for its new owner. If you’re interested, check out the eBay auction

With all kinds of dangerous projectiles and yummy, choking-hazard small parts, they definitely do not make them like this anymore!

Here’s an article I wrote about it last year, a bunch of new photos.

Wow, I remember how excited you were when you found and aquired this so many years ago. I can hardly believe you’re parting with it. I have to say that when I was a kid I never saw such an awesome toy.

So, whatever happened to that book you were writing about Steve Jobs?

  3. Siestaguy – I’ve just been crazy busy with my ‘real’ work. I’ll be getting back to the book soon.

    Hello Mike,
I like your toy. How much are you selling it for?
    Thanks
