Just wanted to add that I can’t design a web site or a blog. I also don’t know CSS, Javascript, Beans, or any other Lingo. If you need help, I am not your man. I don’t really have a site that I am comfortable linking to as I would have to put a disclaimer on it as to how it is under construction (since 1995).

However, I do enjoy reading your writings. Keep up the good work.

Not applying for anything, just making an observation: it has been amazing to me to see how many web designers, etc. fall back on blogs, where, at most, all they are “designing” is a background and some graphic elements.

To me a “web designer” should showcase his/her design capabilities on their own site. There is nothing you can do with a third party blog that you can’t design and code by yourself. Quict taking the easy way out!!!

Hey,
I realize I’m a little late, but I figured I’d throw my name in too. I’m working on building up my portfolio now so I don’t have a lot to show. My lates ventures was http://www.murphyrealtors.com for a local realty office, and http://www.electmurphy.com (the owner is running for city council).

I have extensive knoledge of (X)HTML, CSS, Flash, and Graphic Design, as well as a firm background in PHP and JavaScript. I also work with WordPress from time to time, and am firmiliar with it’s inner workings.
