Note: The contest has ended. Thanks to everyone who participated. Read about the winners here.
I could use some help to spread the word about Writers Block Live, and you could probably use some cool free stuff. Those two needs have come together as the foundation for the first Writers Block Link Exchange Contest. In exchange for links to Writers Block Live on your website(s) you get a link on Writers Block Live, and more importantly you’ll get a shot at five excellent prizes, including a 30 GB iPod. The winners will be chosen in a random drawing to be held on Feb 19, 2006.
Two Ways to Enter
If you have a publicly accessible website, put up a link to Writers Block Live and then post a comment here with a link to your page. (see below for link html if you need it.)
If you don’t have a website, you can still enter. Just use the mail form to send me the name and URL of your favorite Apple or technology-related website.
All the submitted websites and links will be added to a page of links on this site, so everyone who visits the site can check them out.

Fabulous Prizes
Grand Prize – a 30GB iPod
One lucky winner will get their choice of a white or black 30GB fifth generation iPod to have and to hold. Take your music with you wherever you go, watch videos, and listen to Podcasts (hmmm…podcasts…writers block live…getting an idea…).
Second Prize – the Shirt Off My Back
Second prize is a rare, slightly used Apple ‘Think Different’ shirt which was the official ‘uniform’ for Apple employees working in the Apple booth at shows like Macworld or NAB. This is my own personal shirt (size Large), which I wore only once. It has ‘Think Different’ embroidered on the front and the Apple logo on the back.
Third, Fourth and Fifth Prizes – WBL Stuff
Winners three, four and five will get their choice of a Writers Block Live mouse pad, coffee mug or notebook. Each item is perfect for letting everyone know how cool you are, and what cool websites you visit.

Hi Mike,
I came here after reading your Guardian article the other day, and am now a regular reader.
I’ve added a link to your site in my latest blog post (although it’s about to be knocked down a notch as I post pictures of the snake that just bit me). I’m also stealing a tiny bit of bandwidth from you by including an image from your site. Is that OK?
